Tri-State Hobbies Off-Road track
Well i went by Tri-State yesterday to see what all was going on and i am happy to report that track construction IS UNDER WAY i witnessed it myself, bobcats rolling CLAY being delivered NEW tubing being layed, it is slated to be ready for practice the first or 2nd week of april of course that is all dictated by the weather......Also there are a bunch of carpet racers that are making the dive to off-road so this outdoor season should be a ton of fun and very competitive. They did not have a schedule made up yet or the race fees they said they will have that info in a week or so but i know they are racing all the usual classes buggy truggy sct 10th scale buggy and they are racing on sat's. By listening to there ideas and looking at the progress, the space, the hobby shop, the location, it should be a wicked track and the place to be.

Thanks for the low down L-Dawg. That's exciting that we will have a close option. Are they still going with the dirt mound drivers stand? I will have to post a link to there track. Hopefully they will do a better this round with the track. Hope they will post a current schedule. I will try and get there link on our site so we can keep up to date with there progress. Lonnie maybe ask them to post something on here or ask for them to send some pics. That always gets people excited when they can see the proof in the pudding.

Re: Tri-State Hobbies Off-Road track
Hey Jamie I picked up a schedule when I was out there friday......... Track closed on Mondays(not sure why), Tuesday open practice, Wednesday open track from 11-3:30 track closed from 3:30-4:30, racing starts at 6:30(2 quailifiers and main) Thursday open practice. Friday open track from 11-3:30 track closed from 3:30-4:30, racing starts at 6:30(2 quailifiers and main) Saturday opens at 10am racing starts at 1pm(3 qualifiers and main) Sunday open practice.
As for prices....$20 to practice
Weekday racing: 1st class $15, 2nd $5
Weekend racing: 1st class $20, 2nd $8
Special rate 1 weekday&1 weekend race ticket 1st class $30, 2nd $8(SAME WEEK ONLY)
It does not state classes, I'm guessing if theres enough, they'll race 'em.
